AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

Develop machine learning models for flight delay prediction, passenger flow forecasting, and computer vision applications. Work with real-world aviation data to create actionable intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive analytics models for flight delays and disruptions
• Build computer vision models for passenger flow analysis
• Create time-series forecasting models for airport operations
• Work with large-scale aviation datasets (ADS-B, passenger data)
• Deploy ML models to production using MLOps best practices
• Optimize model performance and accuracy
• Collaborate with product team to translate business needs into ML solutions
• Research and implement state-of-the-art ML techniques

Requirements

• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistics
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with predictive analytics and forecasting
• Understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering
• Knowledge of model evaluation and validation techniques
• Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have

• Computer vision experience (OpenCV, YOLO, etc.)
• Experience with time-series analysis and forecasting
• Knowledge of deep learning architectures
• MLOps experience (Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow)
• Experience with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
• Understanding of aviation or transportation domain
• Published research or Kaggle competition experience
• Experience with edge AI and model optimization
