ADS-B Data Accuracy & Coverage

AeroSky relies on Automatic Dependent Surveillance–Broadcast (ADS-B) data collected through a community-powered network of receivers across India. Users should be aware of the following limitations:

• ADS-B coverage depends on the geographic distribution of community receivers and may have gaps, particularly in remote or low-density areas of Indian airspace
• Not all aircraft are equipped with ADS-B transponders; some flights may not appear in tracking data
• ADS-B signals can be affected by terrain, weather, interference, or receiver hardware limitations, leading to incomplete or intermittent data
• Position, altitude, and speed data derived from ADS-B may contain inaccuracies or delays
• Coverage and data quality will vary as the AeroSky receiver network grows and evolves

Delay Predictions & Projections

Delay predictions, route analytics, and airport congestion projections provided by AeroSky are estimates generated through statistical modeling and historical data analysis. These projections are not guarantees of actual flight performance. Actual delays and conditions may differ significantly from predicted values due to weather, air traffic control decisions, airline operations, and other factors beyond the scope of AeroSky's models. Do not rely on AeroSky delay predictions for travel planning or operational decisions.
